Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy is an exam that views the inside of the colon (large intestine) and rectum, using a tool called a colonoscope.

ERCP

ERCP is short for endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography. It is a procedure that looks at the bile ducts. It is done through an endoscope.

Endoscopic Ultrasound

Endoscopic ultrasound uses an endoscope with an ultrasound probe incorporated into its tip. This technology enables the physician to examine the layers of the wall of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum and rectum.

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Sigmoidoscopy is a procedure used to see inside the sigmoid colon and rectum. The sigmoid colon is the area of the large intestine nearest to the rectum.

Upper endoscopy

Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is a test to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach, and first part of the small intestine.
