About Priti Joshi-Guske

My name is Priti Joshi, MD, and I have always been fascinated by the field of gastroenterology. I received my medical degree at University of Florida and completed an internal medicine residency at University of Pittsburgh. Thereafter, I returned to UF to complete my gastroenterology fellowship. It is my privilege to be practicing as a gastroenterologist for over 15 years at UF Health Shands Hospital and the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. I am an assistant clinical professor in the UF Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition and have a strong focus in educating the trainees within our fellowship program about skills in endoscopic procedures as well as the art of clinical care. I enjoy practicing the breadth of general gastroenterology and also have specific interests in managing celiac disease, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, and eosinophilic esophagitis. Furthermore, I am passionate about my role as a gastroenterologist in screening for and preventing colon cancer.
