About Andreas G Zori

My name is Andreas Zori, MD, and I am a transplant hepatologist and an assistant professor of medicine in the division of gastroenterology, hepatology & nutrition. I also serve as the director of development and outreach for liver transplantation at UF and a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine with certification in internal medicine, gastroenterology and transplant hepatology.

I earned my medicine degree from Albany Medical College in New York and undertook postgraduate training at the University of Florida, completing an internal medicine residency, serving as chief internal medicine resident, gastroenterology fellowship and transplant hepatology fellowship. Subsequently, I was recruited to join UF faculty in 2018 and have since received several awards, including attending of the year, an award given by the internal medicine residents and the College of Medicine Exemplary Teaching Award in 2021 and 2022.

I am a current member of the curriculum committee for the UF Gastroenterology Fellowship Program and an active educator providing numerous clinical lectures to fellows and internal medicine residents, as well as a participant in the Department of Medicine Grands Rounds and the UF Annual Update in Liver and Gastrointestinal Diseases held in Clearwater, Florida. I also serve as an active mentor to gastroenterology fellows and internal medicine residents.
